This track was written a long time before work on Orion began, for an unfinished video game project I started titled "Commando Man", and was the basis for the main theme of Orion which can be heard in multiple tracks on this album, most notably in "New Skies", which is a re-imagining of this track. While writing this song, I knew I wanted it to play during the first level of Commando man with a dark twilight sky in the background, and a rainstorm. The main feelings I wanted to evoke were a sense of wonder and adventure. I wanted to carry those feelings over for the main theme of Orion which is why I used this song as a base.

Something about the synth in this original version really charms me and I knew I had to include it on this album.
