Some people say that cows can cry
I've done my fair share I won't lie
And apes and rats know how to laugh, they say
And they're all predators and prey
We've all been predators or prey

We're all just animals
Wondering how each other thinks
A human being, or a lynx
With mysteries in their mind

And I don't mean that we're the same
But no one's ever really tame
And we are all alive

So come and look, listen, smell, taste, and feel
You'll see the starlight glisten
You may find yourself surprised by what's revealed

Some people say that we're all doomed

I know we've all got lots to learn
